This presentation was for CCHE- 680, Higher Education in the US. In this slide show, I present how I think high educational institutions should get away from the traditional style of education and increase specificity on student vocation and allow hands on learning and resources. By doing this, students will experience different fields and understand how their education can be put into practice in real-life scenarios throughout their time in higher education.
This video is from CCHE 590, Tech Fluency and Leadership. In this class we discuss the purpose of technology in higher education and our workplace. This is Ben Ledwon, Director of Sport Science for Northern Arizona University. He uses technology on a daily basis with the student-athletes at Northern Arizona to help Coaches and Athletic Trainers monitor fatigue and see trends throughout their season. He is a great resource to have for NAU Athletics and I appreciated his time and willingness to sit down and talk about how he uses technology to make an impact for student-athletes and the teams at NAU.
